With the departures of two top 3 players in the greater Houston area, Chris Johnson to Montverde, and Jacolb Cole to Link Academy, the 2023 greater Houston area rankings have shifted quite a bit. Wesley Yates III could have easily been ranked #1 after leading his team to back to back state championships.
