Houston, TX-

The 2028 & 2029 classes in Houston have some talent, & they got a chance to show what they can do this past Saturday at the annual middle school camp. Here are some of the standouts:

2028 G/F Maverick Curl- Okafor– Nice size and can play and defend different position.  Knows how to use his advantages to get what he wants on the court. Just a baller. Athletic, physical guard who can play multiple positions. Can handle it, rebound it, and score it. Competitor.

2028 G Eric (EJ) Beard Jr– Another big scorer who can make shots and plays with a motor. Shot maker! Has a chance to be a really good player.

2029 G Dayne Farina– Quick guard with a High IQ. Showtime player that can shoot it lights if he gets hot. Taking his size for granted can really get you in trouble. Plays bigger than he looks and his a lead guard who understands the game. Makes great decisions in P&R.

2028 G Cash Clark– Nice feel for the game with a high IQ. Knockdown Shooter. One of the players that will have you excited to see his development in the future. Has the perfect 1st name. His game is money! IQ, skill, and feel. A wizard on the court. Combo guard that make plays for himself and others.

2028 G Jameson Bailey– Nice size player that DOMINATES on both sides of the ball and is an unselfish. Very high ceiling for Mr Bailey. At 6’3, with his size & skill set is an intriguing prospect. Smooth, athletic & knows how to play.

2028 G Kaiden White– Top notch motor and skills. Defensively is ready to lock down. Offensively can get to his spots and is tough to stop from getting to the bucket. One of the better performers at camp, nice handle and has the ability to be a great defender as well. Has a high basketball IQ.
2029 G Preston Menecol- Nice long guard that reads the floor well and knows when and jow to punish the opponent. High percentage shooter, good passer, great rebounder. Plays the full game well.

2028 G Jeremiah Moore– Loved how he impacted the game on both needs of the floor. Gave his team plenty of energy and guided them to wins with his toughness.

2028 G Teron Watts Jr.- silky smooth, long armed wing who showed his versatility at camp. Can defend multiple positions & scored the ball well off the dribble.

2028 G Clifton Jones– Nice size F/G. Plays hard, love to compete and can get a bucket. Knows how to use his body to get what he wants and needs.

2028 G Rashaad Williams– Strong aggressive guard that attacks the basket well. Can be a problem for guards who are not strong with the ball. He seems to take pride in letting opponents know “I am here!” defensively.
2029 G James Rideau– High level playing guard who punishes teams on both sides of the ball. You might catch him scoring, rebounding, passings, making plays, getting steals aka doing it all.
2029 G Carter Guillory– Shifty guard, who takes nice angles to the bucket and has a nice change of pace with the ball. During the camp he made some tough plays and had quick hands on defense.
2032 G Cole Adams– Young and ready. You can’t take your eyes off Adams for a split second or you will find out why they consider him like the “splash brother”. The most impressive part is that Adam’s is playing 3 years up coming from the C/o 2032. Just a walking bucket.

2028 G Markel Morrow– Is sleeper guard. He will wake you all up tho with his tough, hard play. During the camp Morrow displayed tough buckets, nice passes, fighting for loose balls, and taking pride on defense.

2028 G James Turner– Nice built guard with a smooth tough and knows how to get to his spots and knock down shots. Solid on defense.
