SWAIC Dallas Session Day 1 Standouts

The Dallas session of the SWAIC picked right up from where the play left off in Houston. The intensity of the games were high level, and there were several players who showed up big on Day 1!

2024 G Sam Cole (PSAT)– He always changes the pace of the game with his end to end speed and aggressiveness. He went crazy from the 3 going 5-9 en route to 16 points and 3 assists. His team feeds off his energy.

2025 G Christian Jones (PSAT)– After a slow start, put PSAT on his back in the 2nd half, getting into the paint and creating havoc. Scored 17 points in the 2nd half, when he’s aggressive offensively he is very tough to guard.

2023 F Vladislav Karasev (Spring Creek Academy)- Physical inside performer who is a must box out. Finished tough baskets in traffic and hit some big jumpers on a 10-2 run that changed the game for Spring Creek. Plays with an incredible motor.

2024 G TJ Burch (TACA Storm)- He plays with a love for the game that is rare, always smiling and really enjoys competition. Has become more of a scorer this year, and can do it in a variety of ways. Scored 20 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a big win vs PSAT.

2026 Katrelle Harmon (BFL Academy)– Intriguing and impressive freshman. Has great size and can get to any spot he wants to on the court. Attacked the rim and used his size to finish over the top of his defenders. Will have a chance to be scary good. Led his team in scoring in the loss vs Spring Creek.


2023 G Jakoby Dyke (Shaun Dumas Academy)- I love his energy and what he values as a player. Plays with extreme confidence and there isn’t a shot he can’t make. Scored 17 points in the opening day win vs BTPA.

2023 G Braeden Jordan (TACA Storm)- PG who’s become one of the better unsigned seniors in the state of Texas. Plays the position the right way. Long, athletic playmaker who got his team started with a big 1st half scoring 13 points. Finished with 15 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds.

2023 F Eagan Shields (Colorado Prep)- Big fella is load on the block. Space eater who has good hands and a soft touch around the rim. Was the difference maker in the win vs Good Vision, finishing with a 14 point and 11 boards double double.

2024 G Angel Sonnier (Good Vision Academy)- Made his SWAIC debut for Good Vision. Scored 13 1st quarter points and attacked the defense every chance he could. Led his team with 22 points and also had a team high 3 assists.

2023 G Abdul Bashir (Colorado Prep)- Continued to shoot the ball well from 3, going 4-9. He is very intriguing with his size and shot making ability both off the catch and dribble.

2024 F Hassan Washington (BFL)- A monster in the paint, used his athleticism and physicality to dominate vs Colorado Prep Black. Had several impressive dunks in traffic, scored 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds.


2023 G Jacquez Thornton (Colorado Prep)- All around tough guard who can play both spots. Does a little bit of everything and brings his team intangibles. Had a 12 point, 5 rebound and 4 assists game last night.
