SWAIC Dallas Session Day 2-3 Standouts

The last 2 days of the SWAIC Dallas session showed that in this league anyone can get beat on any given night. The parity between players in this conference is astonishing. Here are the Day 2 & 3 standouts.

Cam Woodberry (PSAT)- Caught fire his last two games, scoring 15 points and 24 points respectfully. Got the attention of several Division I schools with his performances on Friday and Saturday.

Derek Burditt Jr (Shaun Dumas Academy)-
The point guard of the only undefeated team in conference has been a steady force. When his team needs a big play, he always steps up. His defensive tenacity is something his teams feeds off of, as he’s one of the league leaders in steals.

Aliou Diallo (Colorado Prep Black)- Heady PG that is an extension of the coach. Tough shot maker who’s an elite competitor. Gets plenty of paint touches and pushes the pace for his team.

Bishop Jones (TACA Storm)- Versatile interior player who can knock down the open jumper. Even stepped out to 3 and hit a couple in a big win on Saturday vs Spring Creek. Has a good body and plays with energy.

Yassin Abdelwahab (Spring Creek Academy)- The essential glue guy for SC, does a little bit of everything for them. Led them in rebounding his last game with 10 boards. Can play in P&R and knock down open shots. Plays with passion & does the little things that don’t show up in the box score.

Josh Hollis (Good Vision Academy)- Caught fire in a blowout win vs BTPA, knocking down four 3’s. Arguably his team’s most consistent shooter from long range. CG that plays more off the ball now with the new additions to the team. When he gets hot, can ruff off several triples in a row.

Cayden McDaniel- BFL Prep- Athletic scorer who does it in a myriad of ways. Thrives on transition & his size makes him a tough cover. Scored 21 points in a loss to Spring Creek. His recruitment will see an uptick after his performance last weekend.
