SWAIC Houston Session Day 3 Standouts

Houston, TX

The Finale of the SWAIC Houston session proved that you have to bring your game every game. The day 3 standouts are as followed:

‘23 G Ty Cox (TACA Storm)– Continued his stellar play during the session with a 19 point performance, knocking down 5 three’s. Really helped himself this weekend with his play as several college coaches inquired about the unsigned senior. One of the performers in the 1st SWAIC session.

‘23 F Kevin Paul (TACA Storm)- Showed his range and the athleticism, going 3-4 from 3 point land. Love his frame and ability to guard multiple positions. Crashes the offensive glass hard and is a must box out defensively. Has improved his offensive game and ability to face up and attack the basket.

‘23 G Abdul Bashir (Colorado Prep)– One of the biggest breakout players of this session. Long, has feel, plays with pace, and can really shoot the basketball. In a big win vs Spring Creek Scored 25 points and dished out 4 assists. Went an impressive 7-12 from 3 in his last game.

‘23 G Aliou Diallo (Colorado Prep Black)– Was the X factor in his team’s close win vs Good Vision Academy. Seemed to make every big play down the stretch. I loved the way he competed and impacted the game on both ends. A 21 point, 8 rebound, 3 assists game is a hell of a stat line.

‘23 G Jacquez Thornton (Colorado Prep Black)– When he plays, he leaves everything on the floor. Has a loud personality and loud game to match. Went for 15 points, 9 boards, and 5 assists in the win vs Good Vision.

Shaun Dumas Academy– The whole team stood out this session going 3-0, the only undefeated team! The played with so much toughness and energy. Jovanni Perez played well all 3 games, Jaylen Pazon provided big buckets early n the PSAT game,  Jacoby Dyke hit timely baskets and Derek Burditt Jr was the maestro and floor general.
