SWAIC Houston Session Day 2 Standouts

Houston, TX-

If the 1st day of the SWAIC Houston session was any indicator of the level of play for the event, I should have known yesterday’s games would be super competitive. The one thing about the teams in this league is they have multiple players who can make plays and step up wen needed. Here are the Day 2 standouts.

‘24 G Ben Roseborough (Colorado Prep)– Really impressed me yesterday with his play making and his feel for the game. Has really good size and plays the game the right way. Did a little bit of everything in the win vs Inglewood College Prep. Scored 18 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. Also was very solid on Day 1.

‘24 G Jovanni Perez (Shaun Dumas Academy)- Stepped up in a major way yesterday for Shaun Dumas in a tough game vs Colorado Prep Black. Played with poise down the stretch and hot some big shots during a 7-2 run in the 4th quarter that propelled his team. Led his team with 19 points and 3 assists.

‘23 G Max Ndiaye (Spring Creek Academy)– Down the stretch of the game he was masterful for Spring Creek. Stepped up defensively and led the charge, he forced two back to back turnovers and finished a big layup. Scored 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists for the unsigned senior.

‘24 F Kaden Judie (Good Vision Academy)– Played big in the paint for the Good Vision. Went on a 8-0 run himself in the 3rd quarter to close the gap. Was an animal on the glass, I really love the way he competes. His effort and tenacity was on full display, his team leaned on him for his toughness. Scored 16 points and grabbed 8 boards.
