Reviews with Rob (Westbury vs Lamar 1/27/20)

The Lamar Texans (14-13) battled the Westbury Huskies (17-9) in a district 18 6A match up. In the first quarter c/o 2021 Treshon Clay came to play. He led the Huskies with 8 points and defensively was
a menace. This young man is one of the best on ball defenders I have seen this year.

The second quarter was more of the same, as Clay and Air Force commit Khalif Allim made shot after shot to help the Huskies
take a 32-25 halftime lead. Treshon led all scores at the half with 13 points. As the third quarter opened c/o 2021 Sir Issac Herron woke up. He scored 6 points and 7 rebs and looked re energized.
C/o 2021 Lucas Burton would also come alive scoring 6 of his 10 points, to cut the Westbury lead to two after three 44-42.

The fourth quarter would be all about the Huskies defense. They turned the Texans over time and time again. Add that Allim’s shot making and Westbury pulled out a 57- 52 victory to get back in the district title hunt. Sir Isaac Herron finished with 14
points and 14 rebs. Lucas Burton finished with 10 points and 4 rebs. For Westbury Treshon Clay finished with 17 points and 6
steals. Khalif Allim finished with 15 points and 7 rebs.
