1. 2019 KJ Cunningham (Rudder HS)– The Weber State signee had himself a night and went for 42 points, & 8 rebounds. If he lived in the loop everybody would be talking about him! I can even admit I forget about him being waaaay out there in Bryan. But if we include the 409 boys, we gotta include him too. He’s having a fantastic senior year!
2. 2019 Pierce Hellums (Conordia Lutheran HS)- In a big time game vs big time players, had his best game to date. The Sam Houston pledge scored 30 points, 6 rebounds & 4 steals to lead his #1 ranked Crusaders to a big win over Houston Christian.
3. 2021 Javon Jackson (Summer Creek HS)- Helped his team remain undefeated in district with a thrilling 66-65 win over Humble. The talented sophomore scored 23 big points to pace his team as they are now 10-0 and one of the hottest teams in the city!
4. 2019 Chris Grace (Needville HS)– The unsigned senior has been cooking with the good grease all year long! Had a stat line of 32 points, 6 assists, & 5 steals in a blowout win vs El Campo. He is on the “All Rodney Dangerfield Team”.
5. 2020 Connell Olivacce (Terry HS)- In a game that they were a heavy under dog, he led his team to big win vs the #2 ranked team in the city, Shadow Creek. He had a game high 26 points, and was the catalyst for coach Mike Jackson and the Rangers in a 72-67 win.

It’s a tie between Ken Coleman(Summer Creek) and Mike Jackson(Terry). Both guided their teams to big wins, Coleman’s Bulldogs earned a buzz beating win to keep them undefeated in district, and Jackson’s Rangers may have pulled off the upset of the week with a 72-67 win over Shadow Creek.
