Pinkard, Grand Oaks avenge lone district loss

Spring, TX-

Since coming back off an injury mid-December, Trey Pinkard has helped Grand Oaks to 9 straight wins, including avenging the sole district 13 6A loss to rival College Park. They currently sit in 1st place with a 10-1 record. Pinkard is averaging 16P, 4A, shooting 45% from 3 & 2.5 steals per game during this streak. He showed his leadership skills in a big time matchup with another high level ‘27 guard, Tyson Forrest, leaving with a W. 6’5 Junior teammate Ebube Joseph has been outstanding & the “X” factor, he went for 17 points, 7 rebounds & 2 steals in last night’s victory. He’s one of the fast rising prospects in the 2027 class. His toughness and energy have been unmatched. Senior Morgan Luzey has been a steady hand as well, giving them senior leadership and outside shooting. Coach Anthony Stephens has his group locked & loaded for a back to back district championship, after losing 4 starters from last year’s team. This team will be a tough out come playoff time!
